Many thanks to all those parents who filled out our Questionnaires - we have had excellent comments from you and those of you who asked questions have now all had replies either verbally, or by text.

All questionnaires are available in an easy to read folder - please spend time to look through these.

Chris Stephens who was going to work during the summer has now been given the chance to work abroad at a Summer Playscheme so we will say bye to him this Friday.

NEW STAFF

I am pleased to tell you that my daughter Faye (18) will be working for us from Wednesday 14th July both at the Out of School Scheme and the Summer Playscheme.  Faye currently works at Cute Companions Nursery in Thackley and has just completed her NVQ Level 2 Playwork - Faye is also obviously CRB checked and is a children's First Aider.

We also welcome Mrs Sarah Spencer whose son attends Idle C of E Primary School - Sarah currently works at Thackley Bambini Pre-School and has an NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Care, Learning and Development.  Sarah holds a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and has attended a SENCO training course (Supporting Children's Social and Emotional Development in Early Years Settings).  Sarah will be working with us some afternoons at the Out of School Scheme and during the Summer Holidays.

If your child school decides to close, you will still be charged for the morning and afternoon sessions you booked previously.

Unfortunately we cannot offer full day childcare due to the building been used by other groups and staff have other jobs during term-time.

Everyday Breakfast choices: Toast, Cereals, Porridge.

Additional choices: Sausage, Bacon, Egg sandwich and Scrambled egg.

Afternoon snack varies day to day. Please see notice board each day to see what was available for your child.

Tea can be bought for £2. Choices which may vary are: Toasties, Soup, Yorkshire puddings and gravy, Beans/Ravioli/Egg on toast. Desserts can be Fruit, Bun or Ice-cream.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Internet Banking!

In order to try cut down costs we would like all parents where possible to pay on-line or by Standing Order. Please ask me for our bank details.

Thank you to those parents already paying by this method or by vouchers.

Cancellation Charges!

A number of parents are not informing us if they are cancelling their child’s afternoon session.  More and more we have to wait for children who are booked in, only to then find out from teachers that parents or other family members have picked them up.  Other children then have to wait outside in the cold while we check that the child in question has been taking home by a responsible adult.

Please give 24 Hours notice either by phone or text if you have decided to cancel your child’s place or you WILL be charged.

Any bookings which are cancelled within 24 hours will be credited. No cash-back will be given.
